Hard Times Tokens

Hard Time Tokens were first struck in around the year of 1833, and were struck for ten years up until the year of 1843. Hard Times Tokens were first struck by two brothers, James and William Scovill. They were struck to satirize all of the economic policies of Andrew Jackson.
